Flush Gallstones Naturally

  Approximately 750,000 Americans will have their gallbladder removed this year. Symptoms usually come in the form of severe pain the upper right abdomen, nausea, and indigestion. When you have an attack from gallstones, you will probably experience intense pain from 15 minutes up to a few hours. Most people who experience this pain find it debilitating and have difficulty leading normal lives. Since there is such a high proportion of the population that is at risk for gallstones (about 1 in 12), it is very important to protect yourself from this harmful, painful and even deadly condition.   We have to start with the liver, because it works hand in hand with the gallbladder. Your liver produces bile, a greenish-brown fluid charged with the duty of digesting fats. The bile is sent to the gallbladder where it is concentrated and stored. When you eat, your gallbladder contracts and releases stored bile where it begins to help break down the fat in your food. But if bile within your gallbladder becomes chemically unbalanced, it can form into hardened particles that eventually grow into gallstones. This chemical imbalance, very simply, is an overload of cholesterol which hardens with the bile to form gallstones. Cholesterol does NOT exist in the vegetable kingdom. Therefore, a diet high in cholesterol is a diet high in animal foods such as meat, chicken, fish, and all dairy foods.  The root of the problem is your diet. You have to begin by cutting cholesterol out of your diet. It isn't just harmful to your gallbladder... it is the main culprit in heart disease, the number one killer of Americans. Cutting cholesterol out of your diet is the first and most important way to achieve significant health benefits and protection from disease. Instead of eating animals, you should try eating foods high in nutrients and fiber and low in saturated fat. You will be surprised to learn there are so many delicious recipes and options out there that won't make you suffer from a new diet. Gallstones - What you need to know...

Gallstones can be as small as a grain of sand or as large as a golf ball and may be smooth and round or irregular with a number of edges. You can have just one stone or hundreds of them. Gallstones are composed mainly of undissolved cholesterol, although they can also have other components, such as calcium and bilirubin, the residue from the breakdown of red blood cells. About 1 in 12 people have gallstones, although some may not experience any symptoms.

Symptoms typically include pain in the abdomen and possibly nausea. According to statistics, about 750000 Americans will have what is known as a Cholecystectomy, which is the removal of the gallbladder. Although this is a relatively safe procedure, my research indicates this is not a good option. I say this with the caveat that you must always seek medical advice concerning your specific condition before attempting any kind of treatment program. I don't like the option of surgery to remove the gallbladder because of gallstones because of the following....

How to Flush Gallstones Naturally

The gallbladder is a small organ located directly under the liver. It acts as a bile reservoir; it concentrates bile which is secreted by the liver and is used by the body to digest fats. If the liver is overloaded with toxins and saturated fats, the bile (which carries toxins and fats) will eventually inflame the gallbladder. When enough cholesterol deposits (from saturated fats) have formed, they crystallize with the bile to form gallstones. If the gallbladder becomes inflamed, it causes sever pain in the upper right abdomen. This is accompanied by fever, nausea and vomiting. This condition must be treated immediately as it can be life threatening.

According to the peer reviewed medical journal Medical Hypotheses, the key to correcting gallstones is to stop overloading the liver with toxins and saturated fats. Remember, cholesterol deposits from saturated fats cause gallstones, so avoiding saturated fats in your diet is the key. Saturated fats do not exist in the vegetable kingdom. They are only available in meat and dairy foods. Therefore, "vegetarian diets offer protection against gallstones." Medical Hypotheses, 40(2), February 1993, p. 81-84

Symptoms:
Often, persons with gallstones have no symptoms. If a stone blocks the bile passage however, nausea, vomiting and pain in the upper right abdominal region occur. These symptoms often arise after the individual has eaten fried or fatty foods.

Recommendations to flush gallstones:

  • In the morning, drink the gallstone flush; 8 oz. Apple juice (or dilute with water), 3-6 cloves of raw organic garlic, 1-2 inches of raw organic ginger root, mix well in blender. This drink may help dissolve and flush gallstones.
  • Eat a well balanced diet of 50% raw foods and fresh juices, fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, and nuts/seeds.
